Scope of Practice

  • Snoring & mild sleep apnea diagnosis & treatment
  • Hearing loss & balance disorders: testing, hearing aids, swim plugs a& musicians plugs
  • Evaluation & Treatment of all aspects of ear, nose and throat problems from pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Nose & sinus problems; sinus surgery; septoplasty; nasal & facial fractures
  • Tonsils & Adenoids; surgical & non-surgical treatment
  • Ear disorders: chronic infection, tinnitus, Meniere's Disease; wax removal
  • Head & Neck Surgery including Thyroidectomy neck masses,cancerous skin lesions, throat and larynx surgery; computer voice imaging salivary & parotid gland disorders.
  • Diagnostic ultrasound on site & Home Sleep Studies available

We treat patients of all ages and accept many insurance plans* including Medicare, Horizon (including NJ Health), Aetna & Cigna.

Mission Statement

The patient's health and well-being always come first. We will assist you and your family in obtaining medical care that exceeds your expectations.

Financial Department

Our Billing Department is managed by Nancy Ramella, our coding and billing specialist. She is assisted by Rhonda Washer, who is also well-trained and experienced in the billing process. Our billing staff works closely with the patients and provides accurate billing statements and timely filing of claims. Hardship cases are handled individually. We offer several payment alternatives including cash, check, credit and debit cards plus other credit options. Our Billing Department can be reached directly at 973-770-7105.

Office Management

Our Office Manager is Patty DeSande, R.N. Patty has been with Dr. Aroesty since he started private practice in 1996. She is a graduate of Englewood Hospital School of Nursing and has worked in every aspect of nursing during her extended career including hospital, nursing home, private duty and office. She has a special affinity for the cantankerous older patients which may explain her long-term relationship with Dr. Aroesty.

Nursing Staff

Dr. Aroesty and Michele Corrice are assisted by our nursing staff: Susan Evans Bator, LPN, Elisa Monterroso, MA and Christina Rivera, MA. All personnel have extensive training in EHR (Electronic Health Records) and are adept at taking in-depth medical histories from our patients in order for our providers to treat the patients appropriately. Our staff works closely with the providers in order to make our patient's visit both pleasant and productive while making the patient feel comfortable and informed. Medication authorizations and refills, MRI and CT Scan authorizations, surgical scheduling and pre-authorizations are just some of the services provided by our team.

Electronic Medical Records

Our office employs the use of state-of-the-art Electronic Health Records.  We have been utilizing this system since 2006, well before many practitioners.  EHR provides many benefits including: automatic faxing of prescriptions to your pharmacy before you even leave the office, note of consultation faxed to your referring physician on the day of your visit, access to images and reports at the touch of a button and the ability to provide the patient with a full and legible copy of their office visit at their request. Incorporated in this system is a pharmacology safeguard that alerts the practitioner to any possible drug interaction with your current medications before the new one is even prescribed.  For first time patients, we do take your picture as part of your medical profile.  This aids us in proper identification and protection of your privacy.  The EHR is compliant with HIPPA regulations so that you can rest assured that your personal information will never be shared with anyone without your written permission.

Reception Staff

Our reception team is lead by Rose Mahoney, who has been working in our office since 1998. Other reception team members include Minerva Alers, Kirsten Meehan and Doris Novak. Our staff makes every effort to accommodate our patients' needs during the scheduling process. They are happy to answer questions and provide ancillary information. All scheduled appointments are confirmed with an automated calling system through CallPointe. The patient receives an automated reminder call two days before their appointment to the number they provide during registration. This helps avoid missed appointments. We do ask that if a patient does not plan on keeping their appointment that they please give us a call and let us know. If we are not in the office, they can leave a message with our answering service which is available 24/7. Missed appointments are subject to a cancellation fee if no notification is given.
